WA Ballet - Albany Tour

Our friends at West Australian Ballet have some exciting news for all those in WA's south west regions.

After rave reviews in Perth and overwhelming demand, West Australian Ballet are taking Five by Night to Albany for one day only!

Five by Night has premiered to Perth audiences in the annual Ballet at the Quarry season to great critical acclaim and is on track to sell out for the third year running. Following on from this success will be an exclusive run of two performances at Albany Entertainment Centre on Saturday,  5 March 2016.
 
Featuring in the program is renowned choreographer David Dawson's ON THE NATURE OF DAYLIGHT, a breathtaking pas de deux, and 5, a dazzling work for five dancers from his acclaimed version of Giselle. Also included in the programme is AMBIGUOUS CONTENT, a new work by Australian choreographer Craig Davidson fresh from over thirteen years of success as a dancer and choreographer in Europe. Australia's three-time Bboy Champion, Pepito, collaborates with WAB dancers Meg Parry, Victoria Maughan, Melissa Boniface, André Santos, and Jayne Smeulders for a hip hop/ballet fusion TO THE POINTE, and WAB Soloist André Santos presents his celebrated IN BLACK.
