Woodside's new Karratha Corporate Affairs Lead, Kate Gauntlett, has recently relocated to Karratha with her family.
Kate will lead the Karratha Corporate Affairs team which also includes Ben Cranston, Danielle East, Jess Reid, Shanine Ryan and Mandy Cunningham. The team is based in Woodside's Karratha and Roebourne Town Offices and is responsible for community and local government relations.
"We've really been looking forward to coming to Karratha and it's been great so far," Kate said.
"We have three young children who've all now started school and everyone at the school has been really friendly.
"I've also enjoyed meeting some of our key stakeholders in the community."
Kate joined Woodside three years ago, working out of the company's head office in Perth.
Prior to joining Woodside, Kate worked as a diplomat with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and as a journalist with The West Australian newspaper.
Woodside's Karratha Corporate Affairs team represents a small component of Woodside's significant residential workforce in Karratha, which we are committed to maintaining, as we have done for more than 30 years.
