Woodside received the Silver VERA at the Volunteer Employer Recognition Awards to acknowledge the important contribution made by our employees in the delivery of emergency services in Western Australia.
The Volunteer Employer Recognition Awards acknowledge the important contribution made by employers and self-employed volunteers in the delivery of emergency services in Western Australia. Nominations are assessed using a quality assured system according to the level of assistance provided to their employees to undertake their volunteer duties, with Gold, Silver and Bronze levels awarded. Woodside was nominated for the support given to employees for volunteer roles with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
At Woodside we have a tradition of generosity when it comes to giving time, money and expertise to those in need. Given our history supporting the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, it was an honour to receive the Silver VERA.
