2016 Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival

Woodside is proud to support programs that make a difference to the vitality, capacity and capability of communities in which we operate.

The four-day Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival is held in May each year to celebrate the majestic whaleshark, which visits the waters off Exmouth, Western Australia.

Around 2000 locals and visitors descended on Talanjee Oval in the heart of the town for the main festival day.

The Woodside stand was visited by many locals and visitors and the Round 1 recipients of the Woodside Exmouth Community Grants were presented with their funding. The purpose of these grants is to support local community projects and fun initiatives within the Shire of Exmouth.

Woodside's support of the festival also provided funding assistance to the Family Day activities, held at Exmouth Yacht Club as the finale to another successful Festival.
