Woodside was highly commended in the Private Sector Award for Outstanding Contribution to Multiculturalism.
To recognise individuals and organisations for their outstanding contribution to multiculturalism in Western Australia, the Department of Local Government and Communities - Office of Multicultural Interests hosted the WA Multicultural Recognition Awards on 14 March 2016.
The Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests, Mike Nahan, acknowledged Woodside's Corporate Volunteering Program and the work delivered in a skills-based volunteering project at the Australian Red Cross. The project involved a team of Woodside graduates developing and delivering training for refugees and asylum seekers looking for work through the Australian Red Cross Migration Support Program.
